CEA to lend support to gay GOP group The Consumer Electronics Association announced today it would be the first association formally to support the Log Cabin Republicans, the group that represents gay party members. In a statement, CEA CEO Gary Shapiro said the decision was welcomed by both the CEA board and members of the group's staff.
